Cookies & Local Storage Notice

This notice explains how SekurMail (Intellect Service Consulting Company, McKinney, Texas, USA) uses cookies and browser/device storage. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

The short version: SekurMail does not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or third-party analytics on its website or web app. The storage we use is strictly functional — it is what lets the encrypted web app run and keeps you signed in. Most of it lives only in your browser and is never transmitted to us.

1. What we store, and why

We do not set advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not embed third-party trackers, ad pixels, or social-media widgets that track you.

2. Are these “cookies”?

Some are technically browser storage (localStorage/IndexedDB) rather than HTTP cookies, but we describe them here for transparency. All are strictly necessary for the Service to function or to keep you securely signed in.

3. Managing storage

You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings (clearing site data) or by signing out and choosing to erase local data. Note: because your keys and decrypted history are stored locally, clearing them may require you to unlock again, and — if you have no other device or backup — could result in loss of access to encrypted data. 4. Mobile apps

The iOS and Android apps do not use web cookies. They store keys and session material in the device's secure storage (Keychain / Keystore), protected by your device security and any biometric unlock you enable (see the Biometric Consent Notice).
