SekurMailWe’re here to help. Most questions are answered below; for anything else, email us and we’ll get back to you.
Enter your email or phone number and we’ll send a one-time code. Enter the code to sign in — there’s no password to remember. If you set up an authenticator app, you can use a code from it instead.
Check spam/junk for email codes. For SMS, make sure the number is entered with the correct country code. Codes are rate-limited, so if you request several in a row, wait a minute and try again. Still stuck? Email support.
Yes. Messages and attachments are end-to-end encrypted — encrypted on your device, decrypted only on your recipients’ devices. Our servers store only unreadable ciphertext plus limited routing metadata. Like any messenger, encryption can’t stop a recipient from sharing or reporting what you sent them — the narrow exceptions (recipient reporting, retained reported content, and leak-tracing watermarks) are spelled out in our Privacy Policy. You can tap the shield icon in a chat to compare safety numbers with the other person and confirm no one is in the middle.
You can set a message to disappear after a chosen time, or to be viewable only once and then destroyed. Use the timer/flame icon in the composer.
Because your keys live on your device, we cannot read or restore your message history. Sign in on a new device to continue; set up an additional device in advance if you want continuity. You can also revoke a lost device from Settings on another device, or panic-wipe everything.
Open the app → Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, keys, and associated data. A few security records are deliberately retained (the security/audit log, watermark records, and any retained report evidence) — see the Privacy Policy.
